Attila boar
Tajikistan
(Sus scrofa attila)
It is a very productive hunt where it is guaranteed to take large wild boars in a wild and preserved nature. Several hunting modes are possible there, however we offer you the most exciting hunting here: on approach. An authentic hunt!
When to hunt:
It is possible to hunt wild boar from November 15 to the end of March. The rut, between the end of November and December 15, as well as the winter conditions (snowfall) cause the movements of large males which will allow you to find beautiful trophies.
Course of the stay:
The stay takes place over 7 days including 5 days of hunting (day 2 to 6).
From the base camp which is a very typical Tajik village, you will hunt on approach accompanied by a local professional guide. Hunting is practiced in the middle mountains, between 1,400 and 2,500 m above sea level.
Depending on the position of the animals or the terrain, you will be offered to hunt in push, after placing yourself in the passes or strategic places, the hunt will be ensured by the villagers. Guaranteed thrill!
In addition, depending on weather conditions and opportunities, the local guide may suggest that you relocate the camp to the mountains in shepherds' shelters or in tents. This will allow you to reach more remote areas.
During the hunting season, the weather remains generally favorable and predictable. The daytime temperature is between -5 ° and 10 ° C, at night the temperatures are generally negative.
Our little tip:
We recommend a caliber adapted to these large wild boars 300WM, 7WD etc ... and the shooting is generally done at average distances from 150 to 200 m but sometimes more. Optical magnification max 10 or more is also recommended.
