Go in search of the prestigious Marco Polo. This Pamir mouflon is the largest mouflon in the world with a trophy span that can exceed 150cm.

Please note this hunting is practiced in the high mountains at an altitude of 5,000m or more, it requires good physical condition and the ability to shoot at long distance.

 

Course of the stay:

The stay takes place over 11 days including 7 days of hunting (days 3 to 9).

The day you will evolve in 4x4 in search of the herds of Argali in the grassy slopes. This mode of travel will optimize your chances of success. Once a trophy is located, you will complete your approach walk with the sole force of your legs. Good physical condition is an important success factor, especially since the hunting area is between 3,500 and 5,000 m above sea level.

The days are generally full with 8 to 10 hours of hunting where you will explore the heights of the mountains, you will scan lawns and cliffs, in search of your animal.

If necessary, a temporary base camp will be set up for the specific purpose of hunting a particular animal or area. In addition, very long distance shooting, more than 400m is common. We therefore advise you to know your weapon and optics perfectly.

The main hunting camp is usually made up of small wooden structures. Clean and comfortable, they generally have separate areas for eating, washing and sleeping and have electrical production. Each camp is equipped with a satellite phone or radio station and a medical kit. The kitchen is provided by the welcoming locals. Everything is done to satisfy you.

It is possible to hunt from October to February.

The weather is more or less predictable in this mountainous region. In November, during the day, the temperature is between 0 ° C and 10 ° C and at night between -10 ° C and - 15 ° C. In January or February conditions are generally harsher with temperatures down to -30 ° C at night.
